See What’s Cookin’

Perhaps you would like to help by preparing or serving meals in our community kitchen, particularly the noon meal Monday thru Friday. The shift schedules during the week are 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. for the evening meal. We can also use help on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. If you would like more information, please contact Gerry Waldo, our Kitchen Director, by phone at 860-225-0211, x-110, or write to Gerry via info@fsc-ct.org.

Walk With Us

Create a walk team of friends, family, congregation or work colleagues and join us in the annual Walk Against Hunger on the first Sunday in May. The Walk is the Friendship Center’s major fundraiser, and all funds raised help to feed our shelter residents and soup kitchen guests all through the year. Or, join the Friendship Center “Archangels” walk team. It’s great fun!
For more information, contact Barbara Lazarski, our Director of Communications and Development, by phone at 860-225-0211, x-202, or write to Barbara via info@fsc-ct.org.
